NE•RS 2024 CONFERENCE PROGRAM
The 16th Annual International Conference on Nuclear Energy NE•RS 2024 „ON THE WAY TO THE CZECH NUCLEAR PROGRAM SUCCESS“.
Prague, AutoClub Palace of the Czech Republic
Wednesday, 27th November, 2024
The conference is held under the auspices of Jan SKOPEČEK, Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic
With the government's decision on the supplier of the four new units, the Czechia is essentially the first to enter a new era of nuclear power development in Europe. The basic step has been taken, and attention must now be paid to all activities that will enable the smooth and successful implementation of the nuclear program and, in particular, the first new unit at Dukovany start-up in 2036. This includes legislation, financing and staff training, covering the entire educational process. This, together with updates on the status of the NPPs project, will be the main focus of the presentations and panel discussions at the conference.
Competent speakers have prepared presentations that will provide you with comprehensive information on the preparation of the construction of new nuclear units and will also offer you with the opportunity to find your place in this largest investment project in the history of the Czech Republic.
NERS 2024 Conference program is designed to cover all current topics related to the construction of new nuclear power plants in Dukovany, concerning the negotiation of contractual documents, the progress of preparatory processes and their relation to legislation, as well as governmental positions and the necessary participation of the Czech industry, the provision of education and training of new personnel and, last but not least, the financing of our largest investment project.
